Whoever decided to give such a frail pokemon Magic Bounce and +40SpA instead of giving it a more offensive ability and not wasting 40% of its new stat points should be burned alive at the stake.

Don't get me wrong, Mega Absol design wise is pretty peak, the shiny is cool too
unironically it's got a neat special movepool so they could've made it work but they didn't actually spec into it so it's just wasted
far from the only mega like that ofc
I mean magic bounce helps its survivability but okay, do you just want all your frail pokemon with high atk to have moxie, tough claws, or intimidate. Also beedrill has such min maxed stats because its stats before it megas are terrible and its typing isn't great either.
Could keep super luck if I even gave a damn. Magic bounce just isn’t very useful and I think the extra bit of bulk or Atk could’ve helped. Not debating beedrill though you’re spot on with that
