english is my first language but despite that, i still stutter quite a ton
i stutter so much when speaking malay or indonesian and it makes me not wanna talk at all
what are u guys' first language and when do u think u started to speak english fluently?

learnt English at like 5 or 6
my eng is prolly better than my arabic considering i got a 7 on ib english but a 5 on ib arabic

i watched the simpsons every single day after school when I was 8, after a while i just knew english

Spanish but tbh I think I've forgotten a decent amount of it for some reason I learnt english when I was around 7 by watching skylanders videos of all things I now apparently have an american accent despite never having lived there or met anyone from the US

My first language is definitely Bahasa Indonesia. IMHO, I speak fluently. But, the way I speak is usually too fast for other people to catch up. That's why I slow it down, but it makes me stutter too much because the words have already passed through my head, but my mouth has not.

English is eventually my third lang not so great at it yet

stuttering often happens because of low confidence
if you have that issue, then try fixing it (it is difficult i know)

i think i was like 6 or 7 when i became “fluent” in english

stutter happens to ppl who speak so fast or something they are thinking so they stutter to form it into proper words
