Ya but there is a limit to how far he can teleport because the molly also has a limit to how far it can reach
No phoenix tp range and duration is very short. His flashes are still very selfish flashes. Yoru will still be a better agent but phoenix could see some play
The main problem with phoenix is its very difficult to entry. So he teleports in by clearing anyone near that area with his damage from molly while his initiators set him up
phoenix had place as a second duelist like reyna so adding dive capability is kinda too much no?
He can never be a secondary duelist with yoru existing. He needs some buffs to help him
yoru flash doesnt make him what he is the tp does if your talking about pro scene so i agree with giving him dive capability but with more phoenix like way to do he needs a rework not buff
His flash is also a crucial part as to why he can replace flash initiators like kay/o or skye or breach. Of course his tp is strong too but so is his overall kit.
well he has the fastest flash in this game so dive+close range combat with phoenix flash seems op enough
Not really there is plenty of counter play. Phoenix tp will be extremely vulnerable and should be perfectly timed to get maximum value or you will not be entering. And his flash got nerfed where they increased the windup time by 0.1s to make it easier to dodge.
legit pheonix doesnt need buffs yoru just needs nerfs, he doesnt get picked because you never pick him over yoru for flashes in the duelist slot, i genuinely think he would have seen play this year without yoru being so strong
The Yoru flashes is initiator like flashes with a huge range but phoenix flashes are very selfish and short range so even if Yoru never existed in the game, flash initiators like kay/o or breach would dominate and not phoenix.
i agree that if you want to increase the usage he needs some kind of dive capability
WHY? Pheonix isnt supposed to be a pro play agent, with its current kit its super viable in ranked, people forget that esports is only a small part of valorant and the other part consists of ranked/casual play , everything isnt intended for pro play
Nobody is picking phoenix is ranked buddy. Reyna and Jett still dominate. Waylay and Yoru are also seeing a lot of play in ranked. Of course Neon and Raze are still picked. Iso is played because he is similar to Reyna. Phoenix has no place in ranked either

He's meant to be a contact duelist like reyna and iso. His abilities are good for setting up favorable 1v1s, not bursting on site.
a molly/tp that heals on one ability???, wall giving info is fucking dumb cause why would anyone walk through a phoenix wall??, the flashes are the most useful piece of util and you want them to be non refreshable???
you want to buff phoenix? make his wall longer so he can actually cut off a full site with it, rn its short as fuck and doesn't last long, and it damages his team if they try and walk through with a flash.
