You're comparing people who havent been educated in the slightest bit without an idea of the world around them
You could literally say the same thing about the majority of the people who are living today as in they would also seem dumbfounded in front of a high tech thing that wont get invented until the 22nd century but scientists or any kind of informed person would give a quite good amount of chance to that thing being invented in the future therefore not getting that surprised by it existing although it would probably function way different than theyve originally thought it would. Same thing applies to people like Ibn Sina imo
