What happens when university teams like MU or WU win ascension. Do the university management have to keep them on wages of tier1? Or they get picked by someone. Surely t1 salaries would be a lot for university to invest in unless riot and other sponsors give them lot of money

Ngl the chances of Winthrop winning is probably the same chance as NRG had prior to Champs so it is possible.
nah not this version of WU, their regional results are nowhere near those of NRG pre-champs. If anything they're more on a downwards trajectory
Bro I am ngl there's only like 3 other teams in Ascension who can ACTUALLY win so it's Def not a far reach.
So doing school + working hard to stay competitive in t1. Sounds a lot of work.
definitlely not realistic. You have to play full time to be in t1, incompatible with successful studies for sure. Also logistically it doesn't work
