i want G2 to get 2nd seed. i like nrg in fact i made a frikin thread in support of nrg

I don't mind nrg going on a run. But 2nd seed is just unlucky..

3rd seed was def best. But they can still salvage with 1st seed & pray for easy group.

2nd seed team gonna get tougher group no matter what.

From these groups NRG's best chances would be TL, EDG and DRX. NRG will not beat TL but they could EDG and DRX. But I think the easiest group for them would be:

TL
NRG
T1
XLG

You really want to dodge FNC and TH are too random so I feel like just accepting TL lost is safest, T1 still don't look back in form and XLG are running really weird comps right now

EDG for sure. EDG is scary team even if one of chichoo kangkang is frying.

Its kinda crazy they got top 3 in master 1 with only chichoo frying & bad meta reads.

why assume all the third seeds are just that much better than the second seeds when they all got cooked earlier? the second seeds peaked at the right time and no doubt will show some real strength in champs no matter who their group is

agree, third seeds are stacked on paper because they are all teams that have lifted trophies in franchising but second seeds are just as competitive and they made it to top 2 for a reason especially teams like GX DRG NRG who didn’t have many expectations

The 2nd seeds are no doubt playing better rn but there's a reason to say 3rd seed teams are scarier since they have ALL won internationals in the past and have performed well in internationals this year. In comparison, the 2nd seeds haven't shown the same ceiling

True but that isn’t to say that the second seeds are just cooked because the third seeds all have international presence

T1 EDG especially do not look like the world beaters they looked like a few months ago, neither do teams like DRX XLG TH etc

I don't think they are cooked but I have a lot less faith in these teams because of their lack of international presence. I don't have any confidence in current T1 but they do have a precendent for showing up internationally that some of these 2nd seed teams don't have.

Just beat G2 to avoid this mess.

I trust nrg more with 1st seed.

you can still get group of death. But chances are like 30% compared to 90% with 2nd seed.
