Cryo isn't a hard entry duelist like Icy and has the same agent pool as yay, he would be useless on EG even if you replaced Icy.
tbh it can work. cryo can play jett/raze/sage while yay plays chamber/senti
cryo CANNOT play raze. look at his raze during lock//in and you can see why they had exclusively asuna on raze
yeah but the seasons are so volatile that teams should not and will not risk for a disaster. just look at edg rn: they put nobody on yoru at the end of the season to push for first seed. well he has not performed the best on yoru to say the least... not only they did not acquire first seed but they got knocked down to lower bracket in playoffs, with a big contributing factor that they dont have good a yoru player. lets say that they pick up a good yoru player rn and then lose the yoru player. they are not gonna put nobody back on yoru
