It's officially releasing only in china on August 19 so basically global release will take like not more 6-8 months after that I suppose or maybe a year at max. What do u think Abt it's eSports tho? Surely riot will try their hand at this , I know it's gonna be super popular in the east in asia and china but not in the west since eu and Americas are more inclined towards pc and console games

riot will release it, gets hyped for the first year, and itll be like t2 where riot forgets and doesnt put much effort into it after that first year.
Naah man, it can actually be highly popular in the east and they can create successful eSports out of it, what are u reminiscing about is the wild rift tbh ,it was made purely because riot wanted to capitalise on the mobile market and league popularity but they had close to no starting knowledge and it was so late in competition
True wildrift just had too much competition. And whole val mobile is quite different but the shooting game market is still dominated by games like pubgm or free fire so it will be a challenge still to become successful. First it needs to run well in even mid range phones like PUBG or freefire. But if it does become successful then it can become bigger than val PC in terms of playerbase and revenue.
the fact that valo console was so hyped up and then died bc nobody who cared about valo only had a console makes me think that mobile will flop harder
riot needs to integrate cross platform for non ranked modes man... making them locked to platform is so bs it kills so much potential playerbase
Mobile won’t flop harder because in Asia it is a very big market like not many can afford PC so they will have a crazy boost
actually yeah valid i forgot about like india and china
in the west at least i highly doubt it will be sustainable
