playing on the current patch
it’s right before stage 2 which is very important for most teams, so playing on the old patch nerfs some teams (cn fan bias)
like nrg, rrq, blg, even th, just to name a few, who aren’t really guaranteed champs yet couldn’t practice bind and corrode this whole time
not only that gives ewc teams less time to prepare, it also makes ewc practically a 5-map tournament
so a simple change will instantly make this tournament much better
Do it in the offseason, put more time into fixing tech and replay aswell as casters, could even make prize pool a bit smaller for that
Yeah current patch, better production and observing, make all matches bo3 man from start what's the fucking point of making the initial matches BO1, ur just at max cutting off an additional day of matches. Single elimination didn't bother me too much, was fun to watch teams with single chance. ( Also lowkey teams with their real full rosters)
