Honestly how do pros expect to be the best in the world/region if they struggle against ranked monkeys? I don't understand what they think will happen in an official. Sure, they'll get kills that come from their read of the game but still... You're supposed to be the best of the best. Is that just me?

Because pro play isn't about individual performance all the time, although the highlights showcase it.
Plenty of top ranking players have the performance, but a lot of qualifications to perform in pro play may not be there
99% (if not 100%) of pros just shit on ranked by running it down into a site and killing three people every round. Idk who you're talking about but even Boaster is clearly above average in ranked

Also they are paid to play the game... they have all the time in the world to grind ranked - meanwhile they don't have the kind of stats you'd expect and thats what im talking about
They are paid to play the game PROFESSIONALLY not for fun. The majority of pros dont grind ranked like that so of course they are going to lose to rank demons or not be high in the leaderboard. They focus on the macro which is team play and that is done in scrims.
Nearly every single pro that is a fragger in pro play has 1.3 KD + in ranked, with exceptions like texture who play a very different style in ranked vs pro play. If your going off win percentage in ranked, that doesn’t really matter or translate, but all the fragged are good in ranked
variance is huge in ranked, you'll play the same but in some acts you have 60% wr some acts you have 50% wr
