not a sen fan and think they would've lost to g2 anyway... but i havent seen a johnqt off-day in a long time.. he is usually very solid and i think he is a bigger win-con for SEN then even zekken..

I do think the addition of Bang and N4rrate for Sacy and Tenz played a big part in why John shifted roles and playstyles this year. He can't be a lurking Sentinel anymore, he needs to be part of the pack because they lack Veteran experience. Although imo Bang is an excellent lurker, whenever he lurked as Viper on 100T, he got crazy timings and single handedly won so many rounds for us.
he seems really comfortable on breach.. i think Sen had to adjust with Tejo nerfs aswell.. people only talk about G2 but even SEN used him pretty heavily in their comps.. i really dont like how the meta just shifts before a big tournament and some teams end up having to re-do alot of work.. bang and n4rrate honestly look very solid to me.. there is no point in talking about tenz/sacy
I kind of agree with sen not looking as strong as usual but on the other hand they've not won against a team of Fnatic's caliber at this event so I don't see the point of calling it an off-day
they can win against an early Wolves, BLG and XLG but lose against PRX and FNATIC (and dont tell me they've won against a top 3 team bro Wolves looked significantly worse than in the GenG game)
nah if you really believe Fnatic's caliber is higher than sentinels you're just talking like a fan and dont know ball.. Sentinels has a very high peak and they have been affected by Tejo nerf themselves this tournament.. Fnatic did not at any point look like a team which is levels above sen or geng... they even lost a map to RRQ who looked horrible..
I dont think Fnatic is beating any of the remaining teams except maybe Wolves.. i genuinely believe that was one of the rare johnqt off days which let fnatic through...

Nah bro the names alone at fnatic are bigger the the sen roster. Zekken is the only one worldclass in terms of mechanics and maybe narrate. Bang is a smoke criminal/ phantom abuser and Zellsis and John are more situational battlers, they use game sense rather than having a cracked aim. The 4 of fnatic are just cracked mechanic player and all boaster can do is call. So in no way is sen better than fnatic. Also trust me whoever wins the lowers tomorrow might win the whole thing
Outside of Sunset, I'd say FNATIC looked pretty convincing to me, and that map used to be their perma-ban when Pearl was out of the pool. They looked especially good on Ascent imo, their comp is just too good and Boaster called a phenomenal map, looking like one of their best maps atm. As for Icebox, SEN just failed to adapt to the Sage wall on A site and they couldn't figure out how to retake site.
i dont think fnatic looked outstanding in any of their games.. the number of throws from sentinels in man advantage situations in ascent defense was disgusting.. anyway didnt expect SEN to win it all at all.. they looked quite inferior to PRX but wouldnt say the same for the fnatic game.. id say both of those teams are at par but SEN just threw harder
fnatic was +20 in first bloods through out the entire series if anything them losing would be EMBARASSING
I hope they keep getting stronger, especially after watching drx lift the paris trophy soon. There is always another chance. ❤️
Yeah felt so odd considering John's performance in the regular season. At least they gave some sort of a fight. I would love to see this roster continue. Bang and N4rrate have only been meshing better and better with the team, and I don't think they have reached their peak either.
