so... yeah, we've had magic in this game for a while. fade uses nightmare magic.

The thing is, before Clove and Iso, magic was bending understandable realistic\real world things. For example, Sage's magic messed with biology, Fade was bending emotions of fear, Reyna messed with souls - a soul is a widely known concept.
And Clove's magic bends magic. Which is lame. "Use magic to throw a rock" is much more cool and accessible than "Use magic to throw magic", u see what i mean?
i mean yeah thats true, clove's are definitely nebulous.
i dont think Iso is an issue from that pov though, hes just got a pocket dimension and can use the energy from it to destabilise shit - he's like yoru in that sense
