Cheaters, trolls, insanely toxic playerbase, no rewards, no new content except for skins. No real incentive for grinding ranked OR premier at this point. The game is still good and decently balanced, but it needs something new.
How to actually save this game? because the only exciting part about this game is the pro scene (for me).

the game doesn't need saving because its not dying anytime soon, people will keep queueing ranked and vct will keep thriving and riot will keep making millions from recycled skin bundles. They have been doing this with League for more than 10 years and yet the game is one of the biggest esport in the world and not anywhere close to dead.
