Why are they getting so much hate?
They're just really good at what they're supposed to do. They don't even do anything controversial they're just chilling and are nice people. And the Valorant they play isn't even that boring tbh. Wish them the best in Toronto

You can say it's not that boring but the style they play is what is statistically more likely to get them the win no matter what, which is respectable and understandable, but a lot of people just don't enjoy watching it and prefer more entertaining playstyles
You are totally right. It's just that the playstyle that they have isn't something to get so pressed about, everyone is here to win and that's how G2 wanna do it. Besides their international matches are usually pretty fun to watch.
while I agree with you, you've always got to remember that Esports is primarily for entertainment, so while it makes sense for them and I don't think they should change because they obviously want to win, it's also understandable that fans might not like it as much and just want a team to root against and it makes sense for that to be them
I never understood that argument against G2, because there is so many other teams that also have that kind of playstyle idk what seperates them from the rest
I think ppl just tend to hate on winning teams, happened to FNC too, I think the reason why it's amplified with G2 it's because of their players, they have no charisma, no aura, it feels like an AI generated team
