that riot considering when they choose the orgs to franchise? i mean like, mibr for example, they were kinda trash even in brazil competitive scene and they got snuck in somehow while optic for example, didnt get a chance

well if they are in league its because riot already approve of them hence more likely to be favoured.

there is a re-evaluation period in 2027 where all partner teams contracts are up for review

aka some orgs could lose their contracts with the league in favor for others that want to join the scene

I think it was only 4 and since china started late it was only 3 for them unless they have different rules.

Because orgs like FaZe and Optic were largely crypto affiliates and had members/owners lure kids with NFTs and shitcoins.

Other orgs showed more interest I’m long term investment and support for riot infrastructure (GC teams, Academy teams etc)
