Why does EDG, trace, DRG, wolves get the 1 round buy. It isn't based on last evo series, and clearly isn't based on stage 1 results. How is the seeding justified?

The top 4 from playoffs excluding XLG and BLG(cause they already qualified to EWC)

3rd through 6th get a bye, since 1st and 2nd are already EWC-qualified
