Is it m or do they suck to play with. They dont work half of the time without the most specific setup for them and even then they look as good as other non system players.

A player who only performs well in a particular setting instead of adapting to different settings and teams.
what even is a system player, people always say that but it makes no sense to me
its like one player who is only good because they are under a certain style of coaching/team around them
I think it's players that only frag out when there's a lot of supporting util, as opposed to being good mechanically on itself
a player like demon1 than performs in a setup in a specific way like 2023 eg where they split 3 ppl between first engagements.
A non system player would be someone like jawgemo who can perform in any team
what i get from this is that a “system player” is a nickname for players that just fell off
The best way to explain this is probably EG when they won champs because all of the players left and even though everyone wanted them most of them couldn't perform to nearly the same level as when they were in EG, Potter made the EG players good because she played to their strengths and it worked but the difference between good system and good normal players is majority of system players need potter to do like above to play better than others a good example of a system player was yay because fns was a great igl at the time and used him to his major strengths and it won them games and put yay in the spotlight, opposite would be someone like less or meteor who has moved around and still looks to the same level as he did at the beginning (this is my perspective of system vs normal if u disagree womp womp)
pretty accurate tbh. with metas changing and map pools too its hard to stay consistent aswell. which is why at the time these players look insane bcos it suits them well and then other times they just dont look great at all. and this map pool is pretty rough rn and suits slow teams way better. we have pearl and fracture two big maps, haven and lotus the 3 site maps. just doesnt work for most
there is no one right way to play this game, if the team plays well of each other and wins nobody can say anything
there are lots of factors but if a player is really good he can play in any team without any system and make the team better. those are the players who live for the game. but you cant expect the same for all the players.
