FUN FACT: CS player ropz joined his new team (Vitality) in Jan 2025. Since joining, he played 24 MATCHES (between bo3s and bo5s). No VCT team have played as many games in the year, closest is T1 with 19 matches played.

Before anyone says it's because different companies and ideologies, League players play wayyy more games than VCT players. Same company. A bottom of the barrel team like DNF with 0 wins has played 13 games this year and are yet to play 10 more games this split and even if they don't qualify for playoffs, are still confirmed to play 18 more games in Split 2. Valorant scheduling is a joke. Apparantly video game players are too tired to play 2 games a week.

Remember, DNF is a team who barely win any games all year, think of the good teams who play playoffs and internationals. It's ridiculous how few games we have in valorant.
Also no, the players are not crying but mostly anyone you ask from that part like the casters or people associated with the company, they always give "burnout" as an excuse

it is depressing for a Zeta fan who watches 5 games per split then waits another 4 months for the same I agree the games are so few and far apart even if we just talk about the fans

and especially like a 6 month off-season after champions too. if teams dont make a masters/champions then they dont play for months

oh I never said that. What im saying is that CS has a lot of anti stratting that goes into the game but it relies a whole lot more on map knowledge and lineups/timings etc. They may not have utility like in valorant but their big brain plays are still surely just as fun to watch. Basically CS is also very methodical just in a unique way that valorant isnt

ofc but compared to val, cs is simple. val you have to take into ultimates from agents, utilities from agents. its alot more methodical and actual anti strat heavy
