i know their fracture is bad, and their ascent is probably bad too, but i’m really hoping that they’ve fixed their lotus + icebox. if not I don’t see them going far

They could lowkey fix stuff up and it’s not like they were down right bad at the map they were. Their lotus is a relatively easy fix and their icebox is not the worst either considering they are going up against C9 who themselves are not confident on icebox. So C9 good maps happen to be Sen best map as well. If we talk about some curve balls then it’s ascent for C9 but it’s a risk for them to pick ascent over pearl or haven since Sen haven’t shown their ascent yet.

i definitely agree if SEN fix their lotus mistakes then they definitely will have a higher chance at winning, and seems like they are still trying with that role change with n4rrate on tejo
icebox was only one game as well so even if they lost in the fashion they did i also think they can have a way better map pool
i dont understand how people talk about their map pool like its some horrible thing, Not seeing them play a map does not mean they are bad at it. They played fracture once (in kick off against a hot G2) and never again (not looking at off season). They have never played ascent since kick off and ice box is a 50/50 for both.
If they are bad then sure but we simply do not know what they are like so making these assumptions makes no sense to me.
Sen since johnqt was added has always had a map pool like that, they are so good at some maps to the point almost every team copy their comps and strats like Pearl and Split, but they are bad at simple and no macro maps like Ascent and Icebox. They have always been like that and I dont know why suddenly it became a talking point.
