Question: do you have anything you want to accomplish in life? Or a particular subject you like rn?
I genuinely ask because you're in highschool rn, so I'm assuming you'll go to college and pick a specialty. I'm not saying to use all your free time rn to get ahead of your studies; do lots of group activities with your friends. But potentially researching what you'll have to learn and getting ahead could help a lot later on.
nah, i get you. thank you for the concern.
not particularly, but i like maths, and science and im also good at intuitively understanding it. so im taking those APs. but nothing like a dream job.
i'd maybe like to work in something that has impact like entertainment industry (not actors or like that), but maybe director, staff or something. but yeah im really confused and its hard to take a decision which will imapct my whole life.
i know i can change careers if i want to but the initial decision will still impact my life, so its really hard to be like REALLY decisive.
hmm, maybe you want to get into research? It can be fun, pay well, and rewards having good intuition. It could be any sub-discipline. Materials, energy/power generation, biology/pharmaceutical
research can be an endless pursuit afaik.
it requires you to enjoy the process more than the results. honestly i could do it if i immerse myself fully.
but i would have to think about it.
You're not wrong. Maybe some type of engineering then? It's a lot more results oriented and a lot less open-ended.
yeah im considering engineering rn, like eecs
its a lot competitive rn, but ik if im good enough ill make it. it seems super normal and basic, but i guess its a good base for most jobs.
i might just start again
i used to go to a drawing class when i was 9, i was never really interested in it but now i have anime characters i like and i love seeing their art.
so i might just start making mine.
thank you im definitely doing this.

My motivation came from a novel i read where a character is super good at drawing and visualizing and I want to be like her lol
