I think this is gonna be the meta for a long time now until riot nerfs astra. The astra-viper meta is too op now and the teams who doesnt do it are gonna lose. Trust me :)

Nevermind Astra, it's viper that is the problem. She's overpowered and she is a sentinel, not a controller. You would pick
-50 dmg +vulnerable +extra damage instead of nanoswarms and alarmbot
Not really since once you place the viper stuff you can activate it from anywhere on the map and it generally seems like you would be with your util.
Didn't see any viper lurker as of now hope someone will come up with new ideas
the point of the combination of Astra and Viper is that the game revolves around plants and postplants. Map control doesn't matter here, if you are running such a comp all you need to do is execute on a site and waste the retakers' time with utility.
I think its way more likely that they drop a duelist instead of a sentinel. Sentinels are just way to good at locking down a site with one player
even viper is really good at locking down a site, astra not so much, but astra can lock down a site well if there is a teammate that can play off her utility
