even in T2 g2 had penny on neon. I think his jett is so good that he does not need to lean into the meta. From the T2 events, some teams are trusting jett again, he probably should too
you always need to lean on the meta. Neon is just too good. Either he has to learn it or put someone else on it. Unless they are confident that neon is getting heavily nerfed for sure
We have already seen it in the T2 events so far, teams without a good neon are not forcing it and are actually getting results. If you have a good neon you should be using it, otherwise a strong gameplan is still possible.
This works for every agent tbh loud we're really good in 2022 without forcing chamber on every map and only did it when necessary (icebox, fracture and their copied version of lev's haven)
The deadlock cypher comp teams have been running is from t2 ignoring t2 is kinda limiting ngl
I mean we've seen super successful comps coming from T2 coming to T1 so in terms of strategy it is 100% a good indicator
I mean you have to do what you have to do to win ig. Like mid szn if an agent gets buffed I could understand. May be you can't adapt that quickly or don't want to take that risk but it's DEFINITELY not a good or sensible decision to pass on the meta just cz your player isn't comfortable. No one is comfortable on an agent until they have played it enough. It's just growing pain. Zekken has been playing Neon on a t1 pro level since 2022. Oxy is bad rn doesn't mean he can't ever get better.
