I think it all comes down to whether riot gives 24 slots or continues with 16 slots, I do not think they will give SA their own circuit if there are only 16 slots
They will probably have a circuit that sends 1 or 2 teams to EMEA challenger playoffs (which will probably be LAN) and not their own circuit that sends them to masters directly.
In emea they would get smashed, makes no sense at all. And they would never get a slot sadly
I think so they should experiment with giving us 1 slot in Masters(i.e our own VCT circuit challengers and stuff) and APAC LCQ

and LATAM is a one team region, Japan is 3teams and idek what's happening in Korea besides VS
that's true, I think Australs (rip) would be close to the level of the top Indian teams. But still the original point that a region can't have slots because one or two teams dominate it isn't very good

Tbf, if India is a 2 team region, Korea and LATAM both are like 3-4 team regions, not to mention the fact that VS and KRU are also both miles ahead of the rest of their own region

Not what I was trying to say, I think SA deserves at least slots into SEA playoffs and (if Masters/Champions is a 24 team format) a direct slot, since I do think the region still needs time to develop
What I was trying to say is that calling LATAM/KR one team regions and then SA a two team region is a bit unfair because ex-Australs and DK are probably better than GE/VLT and should be included if that's the level it takes to be noted, even if they aren't the same level as the other top team from their region
Do you really think a slot for your region would be deserved? I doubt India as a region is good enough to be handed direct slots for masters, at least if they don’t increase the participants number
I think it would be best if riot puts a LAN challengers playoffs putting SEA and SA together.
I do not think South Asia as a region on it's own will get a slot in masters. However, Lans may return next year and our region could possibly be clubbed with SEA in challengers playoffs. If the second thing actually happens then I can see another VCC like tourney happening here to decide the teams that go to the playoffs.
they should get a chance to qual via the SEA qualifiers that would be the best way to include them in the VCT
ive seen posts where people are saying to combine SA, SEA, JPN and KR and let them fight for spots which is actually ridiculous lmao

North Asia (KR, JP, CH) and
South Asia (Indian subcontinent, SEA)
Both get 2 masters slot
idk about SA qualifiers, its an obvious 100% guarantee india region win, other regions like pak bangladesh and others wont even get a chance

Bro , it's been in year Valo launched and South Asia is a big region and GE also proves by beating Damwon And Nearly f4q , also good viewership. I don't know why all world is afraid of South Asia getting a slot in vct lmao , are you guys afraid. Atleast give us a fair chance that's all we want

60-70 ping vs 5 ping, you don't think that's a problem? And Pakistani teams can forget about playing in SEA on Singapore servers.
SA could compete in the SEA circuit if there is a lan for qualification to masters.
