this format doesn't reward consistency though. shouldn't it be 3 teams based on circuit points + stage 2 winner?
No, only the most consistent should qualify, if you rely too much on only getting consistent teams through you’ll end up letting teams that fall off going through
Stage 2 playoffs is based on overall record though so that should reward consistency.
If it leans too hard into playoff points than you are likely to not see the most in form teams.

yeah I forgot about that. makes more sense now
I mean teams like NRG or FURIA won´t make champs this year, like it´s pretty impossible
they'd need the craziest hero run through stage 2 but it's not impossible
