Question about map rotation

I'm just curious. Why do riot have to pull out some maps from rotation? Any logical reason behind it?

Too many maps to practice for pros

when they add the old maps the game will feel fresher......

the 7 map pool is some archaic shit from CS that they copied, they dont have to use it.

And certainly not for competitive play, this game would 100000% be better than CS 2 if you could pick which maps you wanna play out of ALL maps not just the 7 map pro pool

7 map pool for pro play kinda makes sense, but they could honestly do more creative shit with it like throw in the other maps as wild cards for third map, they don't gotta be boring with it

To keep the game fresh and an element to learn new things, in every map. Almost every game does it for a similar reason. Like rn the community is yearning for haven and pearl/fracture. This keeps the game exciting, even tho these maps have been played before.

Because they’d most likely do map picking and no one would pick half the maps
