I guess you all know this is bait but damn this did not come over well 💀
I mean, it's perfect in theory but in practice I don't think many women will be comfortable playing with people like shanks and many of these tier 2 players who act all creepy and shit, leading to a degradation in tier 2

the problem is that it'll just be even worse for women in general bc they'll nearly always botfrag on their teams
i like gc but no, we want the best players of each region to be playing in main vct. gc is to give a safe space to work on closing the gap, not force marginalized genders into the main scene.
gc might be the one and only instance of DEI shit done decently now that i think about it

players should be chosen because of their skill and not bc of their gender. if every team needs to have 2 women on their team then its gonna happen that players only get signed bc they are women
