Thought people would know about this. Ascended doesn't mean franchised, and from Riots perspective, you don't want to financially support orgs for a long time when they don't even have the infrastructure. Ofc it's a shit system but understandable from a business point of view.
We hold that bar high, both for partnered and ascended teams, and also offer them the exact same benefits (the only exception being a team-branded gun skin, which is only available for partnered teams)

Sadly he never stated they're getting the same minimum wage. Financial incentives doesn't mean payment for the players. Also revenue from the champions bundle doesn't mean minimum wage. So yeah...
