They still have pretty shit seeding. They grind through conquerors just to get like 6th seed.
SEA have one high seed team, one mid seed team, and one low seed team
KR has one high seed team and one mid seed team
JP has one mid seed team and one low seed team
CN are the same as JP
And then SA just sitting here with one low seed team
I don't like 10 team brackets anyways.
Hopefully 16 teams next year instead:
KR: 4
SEA: 3
JP: 2
CN: 2
SA: 2
or even 12 team bracket would work a little better.
It's because their parent company is from China? And also China has better esports infrastructure compared to India. Don't say it's too biased. India haven't done anything yet on Riot esports event.

yes 100-90 ping on hk server from Mumbai for better they go to chennai or SG and play it from there for better ping
Turkey could be our savior most countries can go to Turkey. Japan is also an option. GE can get into Thailand cuz I believe they are letting Indians in so 100 ping would probably not be the case.

plus u get 44 ping on SG server from Thailand, to put that in perspective if u play from chennai you'll get 40 ping on SG and 75 on HK.
If anything GE could try playing from Taiwan or something of that sort ,its geographically between both SG and HK server.
Based on current ping, probably like this:
South Asia vs SEA | SEA vs SEA - SG Server
South Asia vs East Asia | SEA VS East Asia | East Asia vs East Asia - HK Server
riot can ezzly have lan in japan and thailand they do not have any visa restriction or they just not care about asia or just they are sucking china dick as only they have travel restrictions now .

Actually it could be an advantage for them to play against SEA teams cus the ping is still around 50-80 (Same as Turkish to EMEA)
The problem is if they are playing against East Asian team, HK server is a RIP for them.

But They won't get a mutual server which will provide both teams less than 100 ping like for example Korea and Japan teams with Global Esports.

GE got a bootcamp in s.korea aswell but that won't help, do they have bootcamp in SEA somewhere ? Cuz iirc, they do have a SEA roster in some game.
Kinda funny how much Riot likes to trash on South Asia.
No VCT in the first year (Literally the most important year to develop any region).
No direct slots to masters/other international LAN games.
Conducts VCC which lasts 2 months and we see a decent level of competition in the playoffs.
Gives 1 slot to a region with literally 1/5ths of the earth's population on earth and brings in decent viewership and 2 slots to a country where the game has not even been officially released yet, government is against gaming and barely has viewers.
After all this we see South Asia getting the worst seed in the tournament, no way they are going to conduct a single game on the Mumbai server, all games will be either on Singapore or Hong Kong depending on the teams playing and a quick recap of India's situation in both the games.
India vs SEA teams, Singapore server.
India vs Korean, Japanese or Chinese teams, Hong Kong server.
Indian players get 60-70ms ping in Singapore servers, SEA teams obviously get either <10ms or at most 40ms.
Hong Kong - 100ms, honestly unplayable. I have watched a stream where SKRossi really struggled to play in Hong Kong servers. Barely got kills in the first half, the second half was your average Jett player in top 100 Radiant. It was not until the next game he really got used to it somewhat and managed to get a really good game with 35 kills or something and a good impact.
I don't know how is Riot even expecting GE to do anything with such a harsh playing environment.
No surprises if Valorant just dies in South Asia. Riot really fucked this up. Few big orgs have already disbanded their teams.
It is kinda funny how Riot claims that it wants to provide each player with ping below 35ms but players might have to play in pings above 100ms in such a big international tournament.
