some people will cancel me for this but bonkers were quite lucky to be here(or dk was unlucky? can't tell lol)
I would have sadly agreed on this take if dk lost to bleed, but they would have beat bonkers if dk didn't meet them on their first match, also orangutan completely threw vs bonkers(can't really blame them since they seemed so heartbroken) which was out of dk's control so I'll say luck played an aspect of dk bombing out of groups
I get ur point but dk and bleed are super inconsistent, sometimes they look super good and sometimes they well throw, so dk losing to bonkers was a massive surprise but it wasn’t cause of luck it was cause of a issue that dk has had for a rlly long time now

I just thought it was unfortunate that dk had to meet a pretty easily winnable opponent in their first match and fuck it all up, meanwhile having to take all this dumb slanders saying dk is a trash team when they actually aren't and I wasnt really trying to discredit bonkers or smth(mb if I sounded like that)
No. It was mainly because they weren't playing on LAN. Due to high ping (50-70ish), they had to adapt especially since KR servers are always avg. 10-20ms.
man didn't know abt this, even at lan server there's 50-70 ping?
I mean dk players play Asia servers but they get 40 ping max so 70 is a rather notable number
Again, they weren't playing on LAN (a standalone client for tournaments hold by Riot)
They were playing on an online tournament server

was this situation remained unfixed til dk's match day? cus maybe it's just for the first day of the tourney(that tech pause kk)
for a team that can't practice with teams from another region without experiencing high ping. they did well
