Tier 1 : KR , NA AND EU
Tier 2 : SEA AND LATM
Tier 3 : Japan and Brazil
IMO EU is tier 1.5, they need to beat SEN , VS or 100T to be considered tier 1.
Read the original post, he said NA, KR(VS) and EU are Tier 1 but EU lost to both other Tier 1 regions so they clearly aren't Tier 1 by any means.
The minor issue with KR rn is that there is only one team that can be considered S tier in the world. The rest in the upper echelon are either low A or B.
TNL esports i also kinda good and nuturn got a huge upgrade. We have to see until champions but I think the 2 Korean teams there will be insane (if a korena team wins LCQ)
NU finished third in the world though in the previous masters so it's not as one sided as we presume it to be. NU's strong performance in IceLAN really set the bar high for the KR region, who were considered to be just VS and nobody else.
they have to available to play in venue for all tournaments and that is a big ask in pandemic that na and eu teams dont have to follow. thats why kr hasnt fully adopted valorant yet, when the pandemic ends or they can play online the scene will flourish much more that top 10 that we have now.
VK is a little bit better than Kru. Ik people like to shit on brazil, but it makes no sense to have LATAM 1 tier above Brazil.
Actually VK> KRU > BRAZIL > LATAM. Latam north is shit and latam south is very inconsistent.
i agree with this. Brazil has some amazing talents that just didn't make it to Berlin. But my point is that if Brazil is considered Tier 3 than Kru shouldn't be considered a tier above it.
I feel Ascend underestimated VS and paid the price for it, still VS can be considered close to Tier 1 and not Tier 1 with just 1 game. I guess if they play again Ascend would be able to counter them in a better way also they're relying too much on cNed where it's evident his impact is only for a few rounds while rest of the match is down the gutter.
