them laying off their staff clearly shows how much of an effect it puts on them. the owner's net worth has almost nothing to do with how much of a budget the esports team has
people always looked at the guard as a now thing, they havent even put in %1 of what they will if they see valorant as profitable, maybe not this year or next but if you see esports having even 1/6th the viewers sports do you’ll see a org like guard as one of the biggest.
they have other esports too. and being in ascension doesnt account for literally firing every single staff in the org
they’re not making money, he’s a business man. the org is probably at a point now they can leave it on auto pilot until they’re ready to invest heavily into it. I’m sure once they see they’re able to be profitable in esports it’ll have the green light, you can even see them slowly putting in effort.
in this case it does, he spends alot on his teams and it shows why they’re all championship teams. when he sees valorant as something to invest in he will, and i promise you no other org can compete with the backing, connections, and money he has. he is sitting on his team waiting.
i mean that would be really good to see. the way you are saying looks to me like they are willing to spend sentinels like money
