What he means is he is one of the best players in ESPORTS not that s1mple actually competes in other titles and win in them.
Fact is s1mple is one of the best and consistent esport player of ALL TIME and he is in the elites.
majors are overrated AF. it's like saying messi and cr7 are bad because they don't have WC. Fact is CS has more tournaments than League. You have like what, 7 events a year? Go browse s1mple's tournament list and he has at least 20 events a year and has won a lot more events than FAKER did
You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. The reality is s0mple will never be better than FAKER until he has a major and an MVP. Doesn't matter how many events you win you need to win the most prestigious event to even compare.
S1mple won the Intel Grand Slam, which is arguably harder than a Major. He already has cemented himself as the top AWPer in all of csgo with all of his insane clutch moments and carry jobs through s-tier tournaments. S1mple has carried NaVi to the top of cs while competing with infinitely more talented rosters like Astralis and Team Liquid basically all by himself for most of his career.
It's fking 10 year old game it is not changed since meta but A 10 year old esport game getting 500k views is still a big thing.
A year ago, I was not into esports, I had never played league or dota or any FPS game (still have never played league or dota). But I had still heard of faker. I never heard of any FPS players until I started playing FPS about 6 months ago
