Challengers format

Can someone explain to me how a team can qualify to the emea ascension since they can only win points in Europe's chellengers leagues

There are two independent splits for each challengers league.
In most challengers leagues these splits reward the best teams with points (higher placing in split = more points).
The overall winner of the two splits (most points) qualifies for ascension.
