Why should you watch VCT BR this weekend

VCT NA is over and VCT BR starts after VCT EU, you probably don't have anything better to watch weekend night.

  • Brazil is a region that historically stands out for its aggressiveness because we have a game style based on aiming duels and games like that are very fun to watch, although this region is not yet as tactically developed as EU/KR/NA has incredibly players. talented under 18yo who I'm sure will be standouts in international tournaments when the Brazilian ERA arrives at Valorant.
  • If you follow other FPS games, you know that Brazil always starts slowly as a region and takes about 1~2 years to dispute and win world titles, I can tell you that few FPS game players with high competitiveness migrated for Valorant yet, so Brazil has enormous potential to grow as a region in this game, from tier 2 CSGO players only Xand (current Furia player) migrated to Valorant, maybe you are interested in following the development of the Brazilian scene from the beginning, like a baby.

So, if you're interested in knowing how Brazilian teams have evolved since the Iceland Masters, I'll talk a little about the matches that are to come next, previously I made a thread explaining about each of the teams that are in these playoffs, you can check it out by clicking here.

Furia vs Havan Liberty (Upper bracket final - BO5):

  • Furia's journey consisted of beating Gamelanders 2-1 in a series that dominated Breeze in the last map of bo3 applying a resounding 13-2, then obliterated Sharks 2-0 showing an absurd leap in performance never before seen by this team surprising everyone, no one believed they could beat Sharks post-bootcamp tbh, Sharks didn't have any chance of winning this series, they are the team that plays the best aggressive in Brazil and they have 5 very good players who seem to have found the best formation and composition for this lineup.
    Starplayer: Xand, Khalil, QCK, Nozwer
  • Havan Liberty is currently the best team in Brazil, they are at a level above tactically compared to the BR region made up of low-profile players who integrated a long-term project at the beginning of Valorant and who are at their peak of power now, applied 2 -0 solids in Vivo Keyd, Vikings, and Stars Horizon so they haven't dropped any maps in these playoffs yet.
Starplayer: Myssen (Highest Headshot rate in the World)

This clash will be composed of the most aggressive and perhaps the most talented team versus the most solid and disciplined team in these playoffs, I'm curious to know the solutions that Furia will find to try to break the HL on defense in a BO5.

Sharks vs Vivo Keyd (Lower Round 2 - BO3):

  • Sharks are a big unknown in this championship, they dominated Vivo Keyd in the first round of the Upper Bracket in a solid 2-0 and after that they took a 2-0 stomp against Furia, everyone thought that Sharks played very strangely in this Last confrontation and Furia just ran over them like a bulldozer. I want to know how to see Sharks at their maximum potential in this lower bracket to understand the effect of bootcamp in Europe and what they learned there, it's still too little to say.
    Starplayer: Gaabx and Prozin
  • Vivo Keyd is the team of the currently best player in Brazil in my opinion nicknamed "Heat" who had the best individual performance I have ever seen on a Valorant map killing 37 without overtime against Mwzera on the last map of the clash versus Gamelanders in the 2-1 victory in which they eliminated GL from the tournament, just pay attention to this boy, imo he is the best Jett in Brazil and has a aim far above normal. In general, VK is composed of 4 very good players individually and Jhow is one of the most experienced players in the Brazilian scene.
    Starplayer: Heat

Stars Horizon vs Vikings (Lower Round 2 - BO3):

  • SH is the team of the best operator in Brazil "Dgzin" and the most promising child "Chase" aged 16yo, all players here have a very strong aim and the team plays well with the meta agents and aggressively.
    Starplayer: Chase and Dgzin
  • Not much to say about Vikings, I explained a little about what happened to them in the post I made last week, they beat Jaguares last weekend but suffered a lot and had weird mistakes, Sacy is playing Jett now then you can watch this clash to see them get knocked out of the tournament after removing Sova from the bald boy.
    Starplayer: Sacy

So that's it guys, I hope you have fun with the games and arouse interest in the Brazilian scene that has a lot to show and a promising future in Valorant, many here will root for Vikings who will have a difficult journey ahead after falling to the lower bracket very early and can have a thrilling experience like a thriller watching, the 6 teams that are left are nice and fun to watch and I'm sure we'll see amazing series, I have no idea who's going to Berlin, there are no favorites here.

Enjoy it!! ;)

Do you think BR can redeem themselves this time?

I don't know, honestly I think Acend, SMB, and Sentinels are way above the other teams in the competition, but I would say a top 8 would be great for Brazil, top 6 or top 4 would be fantastic tbh

Nice article or whatever. But yea. Thanks for giving us a good summary on Brazil. To be honest. Even I haven't been following it to intensely. All I know is that Stars Horizon looked really good and Furia looked really shit and then Furia just started going full god mode for some reason.

You know enough, what matters is the playoffs, I try to translate in these threads what the Brazilian community comments about our scene and how we understand the game so that you can know how we are evolving, some people are interested after all

I do watch every so often. But it's not the style gameplay I like to watch. Personally I just like how european teams play. And even for a lot of Korean teams. I just can't stand watching it for over 10 minutes.

Hopefully we can se the best of Brazil qualify though.

I understand you perfectly, I like to watch the European teams too, sometimes I watch NA and KR but it's not the style I like to watch either, I think the game pace is too slow, so I prefer to wait for watch them at Masters

Brazilians will cheer for SMB in Berlin, no doubt about it, Turks are similar to Brazilians in terms of their passion for the game and we appreciate that.

Furia and Vikings still acceptable.
Sharks, nay nay. I hear a lot they already become better after Iceland. But still I don't like Sharks after seeing their performance at Iceland.
