You mean CN? As far as I know, they've been having their own tourneys in China and they have their own rankings? Idk too much
Idk Riot gave SEA 2 slots and KR 1 for the Champions too. SEA is basically a combination of like 5 countries so that's probably why
all online is real disappointment, especially since it will be the first riot-sponsored all-asia tournament. wondering about the feasability of bootcamps for a lot of the teams, considering a lot of teams will end up on like a 60 ping middle ground server
Asian countries take covid a lot more seriously and many of them still have very strict quarantine regulations. Their vaccination rate is pretty low too
yeah, ive been wondering about how a vietnamese team would travel to berlin if they qualified as they have extremely strict travel restrictions up right now, unless things have changed very recently
If it is online, it will be very unfair to many teams, atleast for the team from SA. We get 60-70 ping on Singapore servers.
Also sg 1 and sg 2 servers are weird cuz some people get good ping on sg 1 and bad ping on sg 2 or vice versa
2 China? That's surprising. Honestly I wasn't impressed by their gameplay. Totoro Gaming seems to have the best players. I just don't see a clear second at the moment right now though. Tales of Eastern? They honestly look yikes even if they are near second. Even Totoro Gaming doesn't look the best. Hopefully the Chinese learn stuff from this APAC qualifier though to bring some stuff home. But does China finally allow Valorant in their country. I thought it was still not allowed or smth. But this should be good to stimulate the scene.
I'd believe it'd be 1 SA and 1 CN because they were introduced late in the Circuit and probably 2 of each of the others. Because that's what was listed in the Liquipedia page with the secret China slot.
