if Carpe is the person I've heard about and seen in scrims then this is huge. Guy was absolutely farming scrims against top tier teams.
And NA OWL pros were nothing. Babybay, Sayaplayer, they were good OWL pros but they don't stand up to pros like Carpe or ANS, Fleta. Even current Carpe does not stand up to peak Carpe.
Sinatraa was the closest example to a tier 1 OWL pro switching but even then Sinatraa was kind of shit on by Saebyeolbe during the 2nd WC.

impossible to know yet. Look at Patiphan. Guy was an upcoming prospect in OWL and yeah he won a trophy with LAG but he's nowhere near in the conversation for the upper echelon of OW pros to touch the game.
And already people are hyping this guy like crazy after coming back to val.
Yeah there are players like Rawkus, but Rawkus was not a hitscan player - he was actually a support player. And he wasn't even close to the best.

yes. same idea. no idea until what happens. but i think owl pros usually will transition fine. for example xzi was going crazy vs VS during showmatch. sayaplayer was 3rd highest acs in masters 1, one of the best NA players too.

wouldn't it be kinda weird to have saya, munchkin and ban and have none of them be the chamber player in favor for someone with much less experience
Carpe was Radiant during Valorant Beta and is prob Radiant still. So he's not too shabby surely.
idk, it wasn't a T1 scrim. I have legit no clue whether the Chamber player I saw was him. All I know is this was around the time Franchising was just announced.

yeah wasn't a T1 scrim. This was like super early. I have no clue who else this Chamber player could be though. Like he was solo winning multiple rounds. The guy who told me about him said he clears Meteor.

i play Illi, i'm gonna be pretty busy for the next few weeks though. mostly play stardew with a friend in my free time

Peak sayaplayer>peak carpe saya was widow diffing him in owl s1 when carpe had top 3 team and saya bottom 3 sadly saya became washed in late 2019 :(
yeah in the 1v1 for sure, but Sayaplayer kind of fell off quickly. Saya is one of my favourites of all time but in terms of general all-roundedness Carpe kinda has him beat. Carpe also came 2nd in the Widow 1v1 tourney.
i remember in season 1 owl where regular season games would get 100k+, i miss those days
