Yeah I agree, seem's like the meeting Rob had with ShahZ was about them bringing in new coaches and it would be entirely up to them to decide on his future as Rob wasn't in charge of offering the contract. But like in Robs tweet he said ShahZ had a chat with the new coaches and no offer was given to him and he was told to explore options.
I dunno man, the Rob Moore tweet about it all kinda points in the other direction. I'm not saying ShahZ is lying, but he is kinda known for playing the victim card and looks for sympathy. Why would the CEO publically tweet something like he did if it was a lie? Bad for business and I'm sure he's aware of that.
tbf if thats what shahzam exactly said it doesnt contradict the ceo’s tweet. he just didnt read between the lines or get what was implied in the message of the ceo, which was there is a high possibility he is getting cut. he was told that he did not have a contract for new season not that they werent renewing, so he probably was expecting he will get renewed so he just waited.
If he had a long conversations with the coaches, he 1000% knew which way the narrative is going, he might still be waiting for final confirmation but nothing beats the fact that Rob told him that he is free to look elsewhere. He had enough hints to KNOW but he decided not to listen and kept hoping for the best - which is just copium.
Shaz should just thank the org for the time and move on a good note, but he keeps feeding to the trolls on the internet. In my book, for his attitude - he is un-employable
