But... how would they have predicted Guild, the third seeded EMEA team who haven't even looked very good domestically, to beat the defending champions? How would they have predicted Loud, the most dominant team in South America who haven't dropped a single map since Iceland, to lose versus Kru?

Analysts go by stats and percentages, which all indicated Optic and Loud would win. They aren't magicians, lmao. You people are so odd.

its fine predicting optic.. but they acted like guild had no chance. EMEA is the strongest region, and they dont look great domestically because the teams they play are also top tier. and i already explained this 2 days ago but you decided to ignore. Emea masters 1 was not nearly at full strength due to unfortunate circumstances

Do you? I think one Plat chat member said 30%, and another said a 40% upset chance. That's pretty significant.

Also, why would anybody in their right mind have predicted Optic to lose? You could say it's a possibility, sure, which they did. But actually predicting it would be a completely out of left field shot in the dark based on literally every bit of data we have about both teams. Stop acting as if it was their fault and not just the wild result that it was.

You have not really explained yourself, though. All you have said was that you took umbrage with them acting "like guild had no chance," which as we've explained didn't happen. They said there was a 30/40% of an upset against the defending Masters Champions and most consistent team in North America -- which is very reasonable. Based on the data they had, Optic were the firm favorites. I think if you check the bookmaker's odds, you will see that they all favored Optic as well.

You're literally just talking out your ass because, I assume, you dislike PlatChat for whatever reason. That's all fine, and you're totally free to dislike them... But don't make up utter cap to try and explain it, lol.

Optic is overrated considering they dropped games to Xerxia, Loud, EG, XSET. Guard and DRX both hard choked against them too.
