Will this laptop be able to get 300+ FPS on Val to match the 360 Hz screen?

Having a gaming laptop in a classroom environment is also not ideal. Loud ass fans with big ass RGB lights.

Will the fans be loud even when I’m typing google docs and stuff?

I have a similar one with a 3070 instead of 3080(shouldnt matter either way) and gets around 240 average. unless you hard overclock your cpu i assume its gonna have a realistic max clock of 4.6 ish? which is still not enough for 360fps
With valorant's less than amazing optimization its very hard to run at that frames unless you seriously downgrade in resolution(i get like 400 on 1280x960 low) or overclock(very bad idea for laptop)
but 240 and 360hz has a pretty minimal difference anyways lol

If you're a college student looking for a good laptop I would get something similar to a desktop format.
Try an eGPU it allows for a full sized graphics card and still being able to have the portability for a laptop
It's a bit unique but if you can it would definitely be worth it.
All it is, is an external graphics card for your laptop

This link is just an example and not the only one on the market

Do not buy a gaming laptop.
Even a shit PC with only a i5 would get more fps, while on college get friends or something kkkk
