I feel like this is the best option they could've done.
It keeps FPX in the running for Champions as well as gives incentive for Liquid to compete.

I think they should give a base of 200 to fpx as they did
and then increase it as liquid places higher

I'm not too sure about this. I feel that this could actually be harmful to FPX as they are competing against each other. Sounds good in theory, but in practice might not be too good.

I honestly think they should lower liquid vct poin or whatever it's called by a bit. Like deduction system maybe or else the balance of point in EMEA is gonna get fcked

I think itd be fair to give them like a set amount less than the points they earn by competing. Lets say they place 8th for 200 circuit points, have a sort of "Qualification fee" of maybe 20 points so they earn 180 rather than 200. I feel that if you were to deduct too many points however that there would be no incentive to compete

Yes, but that leaves FPX in a situation where there is a chance of them being 4th in the total amount of points after Masters. Facing the last masters before champs with a clear disadvantage.

Imagine they tie there with Liquid and get the same points but Liquid goes because they got out of groups in an event that should have never happened

Riot Games cannot take back a won prize. If he does, he is racist. If you promise a prize and organize a tournament, if the team participating in that tournament deserves this award by winning it, it is their right. Iceland may not accept citizens of Russia. (this is racist). Riot Games could invite FPX players to a country that accepts Russian citizens, for example Turkey, and they could play their matches in this tournament in the presence of referees at the Riot office in Turkey. Civil aviation and civil visits to the country cannot be prevented unless they are at war with that country. Sanctioning people belonging to a particular country, race or religion is racist. States and companies can be sanctioned, but not civilians.

Russians aren't a race
They didn't bar Russians from play. The Russians were unable to play because of current travel sanctions with Russian citizens.
They need to keep some sort of team core
They aren't going to move an entire event for three players.

Civilians do not suffer the result of political tension, countries or companies do. European countries are generally fascist, you can understand this from their immigration policies.

The way sanction works is not to hurt their government, it never was. It's to hurt their ordinary civilian and make them suffer hoping that the civilian would overthrow their government. Quite sadistic and barbaric. Again it's not racism but instead to cause instability to their country. Remember the oldest tactic in the book "Divide and Conquer"

What does FPX Shao have to do with the Russian genocide? Was Shao shooting at the ukrainians with a Ak-47 in his hand, but Iceland didn't take it. I see the classic self-righteous European citizen. The more dangerous Putin is, the more dangerous USA/EU is, capable of collapsing the economy of a state. because if they doesn't want anyone, he can use this weapon. There is no such thing that it will always be for the benefit of humanity. I am a citizen of a NATO member country, I have no ties to Russia, but I empathize. There is a rising racist policy in Europe.

They can sanction a country or a businessman, but they cannot sanction me just because I was born in that country. because it's not my fault. If it forbids civilians to enter the country, it is racism.

Plus you realize that sanctioning those businessman you’re affecting regular people that might even lose their jobs and starve to death?

And what’s the other option not sanctioning so Russia keeps invading an killing thousands of Ukrainians and if their own?

There’s not a fair option for everyone but this is the closest my friend. It sucks for FPX but it is what it is
