Are y'all fucking bozos? FNC were completely dominant in groups and takes all 5 matches convincingly. They beat M3C undeniably a top 3 team in EMEA (yes they lost against G2 but did y'all forgot that they 13-0d them?), If that doesn't show they are one of if not the best idk what other proof you need.
People need to understand first of all that honestly for top teams like FNC, SEEDING DOESNT MATTER, playing seriously in seeding matches just gives more content for your opponents to analyze and ultimately counter strat you. And secondly, the round differentials don't matter
FNC is most definitely still a contender for No. 1 in the world and it has not swayed at all regardless of scores against FPX or G2.
There's a lot more behind the scoreboard and the round differential that a lot of ppl just don't understand how to fucking read.

of course man, look at their map picks in g2 series.
they dont ban their perma ban map and then they pick g2's best map
tactical throw, other teams will think fnatic is weak and wont prep as much now and they dont reveal anything.

not copium, real true story from fnatic ceo.

FNC were successful in group stage because they had 2 months to come up with new stuff during the player break. But after revealing most of their hand in the group stage, they got easily figured out in muh "seeding" matches. Why would a team relying on "tactics" so much would not want to get #1 seed and skip R1 robin round stage in Reykjavik.

because iceland starts april 10? They have a good amount of time to start prepping something new and what justhunter said makes sense. I'd rather have a higher chance winning every match in iceland rather than an easier path while getting shit on in the end
