  • 16yrs
  • 179cm height
  • unable to be sustainable in sports
  • turned to healthy diet but still no use
  • cannot have long term sleep due to school routine

healthy diet is scam. Its all about calorie deficit..

Avoid rice no matter what.

^ try and track your calories. there are so many apps/websites these days to help with tracking these days.
based on the info you provided and assuming you don't exercise at all you should be aiming for around 2100 calories per day for healthy weight loss

ignore the part about rice though idk why hes demonizing rice its completely fine in a balanced/tracked diet and one of the best/cheapest carb sources

the calorie deficit is the most important thing yes but also dont eat complete garbage because you will lose a greater ratio of muscle mass and end up skinny fat (results may vary depending on your genetics)

rice is also fine as long as you are aware of how much you're eating

crazy you got downvoted... jasmine or brown rice is fine, and yes its a "scam" i can eat pizza ramen and candy for years and stay super skinny. honestly what worked for me was high-intensity training. yes it sucks and a hard mental gap, but try to make it as fun as possible. i was high everyday, pigging out, worst junk food, honestly even if you need to half ass the workouts, try to make it enjoyable. walking high at night was euphoric. everyone should be able to pig out and not worry about weight. it sucks worrying over every little kcal

Find your BMR, Cut around 100-500 hundred cals below that daily or when you can and find snacks/foods that you can eat a lot of and are low calorie, like sugar free jello, popcorn, egg whites, fruits / veggies. If you like noodles try Shirataki noodles but those are just some basics, theres no one size fits all guide, find what works for you and what you can stick too and don't get discourage, it takes time.

Besides your diet, you should also change your mindset. Don't work out with the goal of losing weight, work out as if you're building a skill. Take running, for example, focus on running farther and building endurance, because once your running skill is solid, weight loss will come naturally as a side effect. And if you ever gain weight again later, you'll be able to lose it crazy fast

Another trick that might help is to use smaller plates and bowls. It makes your portions look bigger, so you feel satisfied with less food while actually taking in fewer calories

few tips that I found are really helpful

  • take walks try to walk at least 10k steps everyday
  • count your calories and make sure you eat like less than 300 calories of your BMI and you will see changes
  • eat more protein, less of everything else
  • drink more water, eat cucumbers, and fruits like bananas and kiwi

sugar doesnt automatically equate to weight gain lol
calories is the ONLY thing that effects weight gain.

also basically everything is sugar, rice and other carbs turn into a type of sugar when digesting.

this is not an AI post lol
bananas are actually good for you
like for example, you eat a banana before gym, that's a natural carb and can help you powerlift which is why I said to have fruits lol
and kiwi helps with bloating

from personal experience just eat meat and vegetables every day, how much is something you should determine based on what makes you feel like you ate adequately. rice is fine, especially if its in small amounts. going 0 of anything is never a great idea so a quick carb source like rice is helpful to incorporate. i think that calisthenics then cardio in that order is really helpful for cutting and then gaining muscle. something like heavy cardio every other day and decent amount of calisthenics every day to start out will have an effect and then you can scale from there. in terms of how many times a day to eat that is totally up to you but i think two times a day is probably a good idea until you've hit your weight goal. and tbh, the gym for your personal goal isn't all necessary so if you don't have time to go lift or do other machines that's totally ok

Address life stresses, your appetite will naturally go down when you’re not stressed out all the time.
