Real 100T Fix

Not a drOp hIKo tHreAd. Their main issue is that Asuna(as great as he is) is not an Oper. Jett is not his character.

• Find/Sign TOP TIER OP main
• Move Asuna to Flex/Second Contact - He is an INSANE Rifler
• Keep Ethan as IGL & Sova/Chamber
• Keep JcStani as Controller
  -Keep Hiko as Sentinel - Allows him to play passive or "Bait"

I love Bang and think he is excellent. He would be the unfortunate casualty of this scenario. I think him and asuna on the same team is really redundant. They are too similar.

ngl hikos killjoy isn't that bad, and they do need an OPer, so rather than make two new signings and replace hiko this does seem like a viable option for them

I disagree on the principle. While Asuna might not be top 5 opers na, he's definitely still good, better than most people make him out to be, and he's op ability simply isn't whats keeping them from winning against teams like soar in the quarter finals of a 20k tournament. I mean, he's been playing jett for almost a year now. If you pick any of the top 5 teams in na rn, and replace their oper with asuna, they probably wont be as good, but they wont be as bad as 100t is now either. I think the problems at 100t rn are structural, I don't know if it comes from the coaching staff, from IGLing, from the time the roster has been together or what, but I don't think it's as simple as "asuna missed one op shot so thats clearly whats losing them the series against a tier 2 team"

I agree 100% on roster roles and coaching/structure being the biggest issues.

Currently the issue to me is you have Asuna on Jett being the primary operator player (a role he statistically & historically does worse on compared to his Raze/Reyna) or Ethan on Chamber (a role I think he is good at but he says he does not like apparently) and then Hiko picking up Sova (a role he himself said he is too passive for and is trying to move away from) so in that situation the core three are all on roles where they either don’t shine or are uncomfortable.

+some cracked operator player that has flex from Jett to Chamber (Kanpeki?? Will?? Mina??)
+a solid anchor/sentinel player even though NA doesn't have any crazy sentinel players right now. (Bjor is a FA, but not sure about his particular play)
+sgares who can lead the team in good fundamentals (spacing, lurks, timings, and things like that) plus he has been an IGL of top tier CS teams, so he can help Ethan grow in that role.

the thing im always worried about is that the ideal roles can switch by meta and some teams in hindsight have had the ideal rosters role wise months after changes due to maybe roles etc . 100t had the right roles and players for this meta with the first strike roster but just unlucky ig that the roles aren't the most natural with this roster but they still got time to mesh and grow so not too worried. The only thing is if they decide to change the roster from here is that all these players are great and can be good pieces to great rosters and just unlucky if this mix ends up being perfect role wise for future metas. I guess roles are starting to get more set in stone with a main of each agent role and a flex player nowadays but we can't predict if eventually with some major patches and meta shifts through agents if itll end up being something way different. I guess you can't really expect every team to be like v1 when theyre in rolling teams mode with their util and just active comms etc but wish this version of 100t took that route. They have smart players able to midround and an active util player with bang, just have to add on to it when you can.

I would love to see Seven back on the roster as a jett awper, think it would be a really good fit

Bang has played nearly every role that isn't Sova or Sentinel. I'm sure he could figure out how to play Sentinel over Hiko.

Imo Poach would have a been so good if he replaced hiko, he plays viper/sova and he's a pretty good IGL

100T started going downhill when they dropped those two PUBG players

i know it's absolutely inviable but a 100T/TSM overhaul would basically tick every box there

fanfic? yeah, but would solve most problems for 100T, plus TSM is having a pretty rough time for good while now, maybe a rebuild would do them some good (impossible though, considering the lack of free-agents on the market rn)
