Cherednichenko has announced that he is exploring his options ahead of his upcoming free agency.
Earlier this month, when Liquid was eliminated from Champions Shanghai, trexx alluded to the possibility that it may have been his last time competing for Liquid. With his contract officially set to expire on November 2, he enters his second consecutive offseason without a team. In his LFT announcement, trexx shared that he is open to all regions and that he is open to opportunities as an IGL or secondary caller.
Last October, Liquid allowed trexx to leave after bringing him on as a mid-season signing from

. He joined at the midway point of the 2025 season and was again called on by Liquid ahead of Stage 2 this year. For a team looking to make its second-straight Champions event, trexx proved to be a reliable Initiator player, rounding out a starting five that had plenty of flexibility elsewhere. With trexx, Liquid finished as runner-ups in EMEA, qualifying for Champions Shanghai as the region's second seed.
trexx has been competing in Valorant since 2020, competing for teams like

the following year as Valorant entered its partnership era, and then signed with Vitality as a substitute player the following year. trexx remained with VIT through the 2024 season, competing at Champions Seoul and Masters Bangkok the following year before being benched for Stage 1.
Since the end of Liquid's season, there has been some activity. Duelist player purp0 , who was benched ahead of Champions Shanghai for rookie GSR , and IGL nAts have both been allowed to explore their options. While nAts's contract expires this offseason, purp0's deal originally ran through 2027. More decisions are expected to be made, with Kicks 's contract also expiring on November 2.
