According to sheep esports only T1 and GenG got partnership slots for 2027. I expected NS not to make it, but for DRX not to make and for no other kr org to be added is really surprising. Now kr has the same number of teams as japan (zeta and crazy raccoons)?

Something about KR and JP getting the same amount of slots doesn't feel fair to KR
A VN tier 2 scene is being invested in so putting a VN franchise team is a pedal for the rest, we been seeing them struggling and quitting the game due to lack of investment into the val scene (BAAM and FCY were the only orgs that had any investment). GAM is a big VN org that's been hesitating in joining val so i guess it was the right time to insert themselves in.

viewership prollems, KR has good teams, good players, good competition, yet the viewership is not it.
I guess that makes sense, japanese teams have a lot of fans despite being pretty awful

Crazy Raccoon will have to follow home base rules - 3/5 players being from home region which would be JP in this case.
I think it waa obvious that Korea and Japan would get 2 spots each to avoid over representation. I was expecting an Oceania org since South Asia hopes fell apart but it Vietnam t2 has been investing massively but I thought Fancy United would get slot so but surprised about Gam coming in. But they have history with Riot in LoL so maybe that was a factor.
it's a shame since there's probably going to be more talent and better performances by those 2 Korean teams than the other 5 Pacific teams combined (not including prx)
