I know so many people point to VIT as successful superteam and see MIBR as a failure. While I agree that MIBR is still a failure, their region is waaaay harder to qualify from compared to EMEA. Just look at their playoff matches, they are only losing to teams who end up in top 4 of the internationals. I think if you put MIBR roster on EMEA this year they wouldve had the exact same and maybe even better results than VIT this year.

As an MIBR fan, I disagree. I don't disagree that they played in the hardest region, but they just weren't a good team. Zekken looked good on Neon but terrible on Phoenix, which was meta at the time. Mazino also looked uncomfortable on the smoke role and even stated he was more comfortable on Initiator. Throughout the whole year, they were not playing together. Some people would leave to play retake while others would stay in the site. Igl switches. Tex looked better in stage 2 but just wasn't good in important matches. I think aspas would farm on Chamber, and it sucks they didn't try it. Verno, however, is him. I hope they will be better next year.

How the fuck would they have better result than VIT this year? IF they were in champs they dont make it as deep, they couldnt beat the americas team in their own region, those "top 4" teams still shit on them
