I wish the biggest end-of-year val event to be bigger with more teams

Since League is also Riot's game, we can take notes from Worlds

24 teams. Top seeded teams go straight to group stage and lower seeded teams start from play-ins.

This way, we can see more minor region vs minor region which for me is more interesting

12~16 teams are too little imo

Yeah, uncommon matchups are great. I want to see more SA vs APAC specifically, the playstyles are very distinct.

24 teams with play-ins is ideal, IMO. Maybe they chose not to increase participation going into 2022 due to covid STILL existing, but hopefully that changes in the future.

Worlds always had 24 teams even during peak covid era so it's not covid

Riot just doesn't want to spend too much for valorant yet

12~16 teams this year too
Actually, 1 masters event got removed and switched to Game Changers champs
so technically the size got smaller from last year
