I can't bother asking AI who just agrees with me all the time and you can't post shit on reddit without karma.
I have AMD R5 3600 and from what I understand I need a new CPU who sitting on a AM4 socket cuz current CPU can't handle shit.

depends on your workload, if it's games 5500x3d or you do multicore loads 5700x or 5900x always avoid the 5500. it also depends which motherboard you have bcs it may not accept a newer CPU

He mentioned am4 socket, any am4 socket motherboard can run ryzen 9 5900 right?

VRM concerns aside, I think (maybe im wrong) that some models can be upgraded and some others not depending on the manufacturer

If you don't mind going second hand you could scoop a 5700x3d, imo buying am4 new is not worth it

That's a very specific number, can you elaborate why it happens?

Amd mostly makes cpu dies for workstation & servers. Always behind intel if u want full gaming performace from ur gpu..

You are clearly dumb. Its common knowledge

YOu can check all benchmarks.

The argument you said is plain retarded, both Intel and AMD make workstation and server class CPUs the difference is the manufacturing process, IPC, architecture, instruction set. Rn the difference comes in price more than performance and rn AMD is the cheaper option

Intel = more threads generally compared to their amd counterparts

If this was true server CPUs would be the best for gaming but they aren't

Amd already released their next gen CPUs. Intel is waiting for 2027 quarter release.

Intel is known for better single thread performance.
