EMEA is disgraceful

#1 seed gets 13-5'd then 13-6'd to exit the tournament in groups. I had hope for KC, I believed in KC. And we all know FUT are NOT winning Champs.

WHY THE FUCK IS MEMEA PERMANENTLY A 1 TEAM REGION.

FNC was the only good emea team in 2023
TH was the only good emea team in 2024
FNC was the only good emea team in 2025
VIT is the only good emea team in 2026 (somehow)

Why can EMEA not have more than 1 team be good at a time, its actually crazy. Its like the region gives all their power to 1 team per year

EDIT: I shoulda said "contender" rather than "good" because thats what I really mean. EMEA only produces 1 trophy contending team per year

Remember seeing an interview from Asuna where he stated that scrims improved immensely after G2 joined the league and it practically leveled up the whole region. Makes sense considering they put a hard cap on whether another team could clean up their act enough to be internationally competitive. Either you meet that minimum bar to challenge G2 or you weren’t going to win a trophy.

(3) 2026 so far: VIT, BBL, TH (TH will likely move out of Top 10 teams of the year by the end of Champs)

compared to AMER:
(3) 2023: EG, LOUD, NRG
(3.5) 2024: SEN, G2, LEV, maybe 100T
(2.5) 2025: NRG, G2, maybe SEN
(4) 2026: NRG, 100T, LEV, G2

When you say "EMEA is a 1 team region" you act like 1 team is good and everyone else is ass, when in reality it's 1-2 teams that are good and everyone else is mid (not bad).

2026 are worse as I wouldn't even call Vit a good team, at least not yet
