Competitive Integrity is compromised

If you are a fan of esports and Valorant, you are likely upset with how the games went today, and I don't blame you. The competitive integrity of VCT is compromised and should not be happening on the biggest stage of VCT. Shameful how Riot has handled this Champs event. Malfunctions to the mouse or PCs should signify a round rollback regardless of what happens. Fans have every reason to be upset with the call by Riot. Riot's poor production directly compromised the competitive integrity of a crucial Champions match. The rulebook needs to be changed to avoid issues like this happening in the future. Shame this had to happen and shame on Riot/event organizers to allow such a game altering bug take place without a round rollback.

The rulebook wasn't the problem, it was its enforcement unfortunately

The rulebook explicitly gives the referee the discretion to change the outcome. The issue is firstly, that these tech issues are happening to begin with. Secondly, that there was zero action to remedy those issues today.

I blame unreal engine and epic games for bugs like this all the time, there is only so much riot can do with this trash engine
